These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the OneTrot platform ("Platform"), operated by OneTrot GmbH, Germany ("we", "us", "OneTrot").

By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.

OneTrot is a software-as-a-service platform that connects stallion stations, breeders, veterinarians, and breeding associations. The Platform provides tools for managing stallion catalogues, breeding orders, semen logistics, vet contracts, document management, and payment processing.

OneTrot acts as a technology intermediary and does not itself provide breeding services, veterinary services, or financial advice.

To use the Platform, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and keep it up to date. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

The Platform supports the following user types:

• Stallion Stations — manage stallion catalogues, accept orders, handle logistics, and receive payments.
• Breeders — browse stallions, place orders, manage mares, and make payments.
• Veterinarians — manage vet contracts, track assigned orders, and collaborate with stallion stations.
• Breeding Associations — track foal registrations and access related order data.

Each user type has different features, permissions, and pricing as described on our Pricing page.

The Platform is free for breeders, veterinarians, and breeding associations. There are no subscription fees, setup costs, or hidden charges for these user types.

For stallion stations, OneTrot charges an 8% commission on each booking. This commission is added on top of the stallion station's listed price and paid by the breeder. The stallion station receives 100% of their listed price.

The commission covers all platform features, invoicing, payment collection, and payment processing fees (including Stripe fees).

OneTrot reserves the right to adjust pricing with at least 30 days' written notice to affected users.

Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe"). By using the Platform's payment features, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

OneTrot is not responsible for any errors, delays, or failures in payment processing caused by Stripe or your financial institution.

Breeding orders placed through the Platform constitute a binding agreement between the breeder and the stallion station. OneTrot facilitates this transaction but is not a party to the breeding agreement.

Vet contracts generated and signed through the Platform are agreements between the stallion station and the veterinarian. OneTrot provides the technical infrastructure for creating and signing these contracts but is not a party to them.

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Platform (photos, documents, stallion descriptions, etc.). By uploading content, you grant OneTrot a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute this content as necessary to operate the Platform.

You are responsible for ensuring that your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

OneTrot strives for high availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Platform. The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications to the Platform at any time. We will endeavor to provide advance notice for planned downtime.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OneTrot's liability is limited to the amount of fees paid by you to OneTrot in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

OneTrot is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

OneTrot is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of breeding services, veterinary services, or any transactions between users.

You may stop using the Platform and delete your account at any time. OneTrot may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or harmful activity.

Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately. Data retention after termination is governed by our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

For disputes with merchants, legal entities under public law, or public-law special funds, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is the registered seat of OneTrot GmbH.

OneTrot may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
